Brood of Kotiz

The Iksar Necromancers in Cabilis West are known as the Brood of Kotiz.

The easiest way to gain faction with them is to slay the Outcast Iksar of the Forsaken faction. While they are closely linked to the faction of the rest of the Iksars, they are not as trusting as the rest of the Iksar - being even more paranoid than the Shaman. Neither the Trooper Mozo bone chip quest, nor the explorer knives quest will gain faction with the Brood.

There are at least two reasons for non Iksar to be interested in getting friendly with the Brood of Kotiz - they either want to work on the Greenmist quests, or the Necromancer skullcap quests.

It requires between 438 and 441 renegade iksar kills to reach dubious with cabilis necromancers (Brood of Kotiz) for a Cazic worshipping troll Shadow knight. I believe worshipping Cazic puts you 1000 faction points closer to being liked in Cabilis. This jibes with an internet post where it took a DE Innie SK right around 1400 kills to hit dubious. You only need to be dubious to the Brood of Kotiz for the Greenmist quests.

Of course, Illusion Iksar is a 1000 thousand point positive adjustment in and of itself - so that can save you some faction work, if you know a high level enchanter. The Illusion Iksar bonus is a positive adjustment for all Cabilis factions.
