Seems to drop the earring 1/4 of the time.

Once you kill Hadden, have a timer ready and set for 5 hours and 20 minutes. He will spawn at about that time within increments of 6 minutes (1 hour in EQ world clock time). Example: Battle begun, hit timer....kill hadden. Camp. Come back in 5 hours and 20 minutes...he will either be there (5 % of the time, OR you will be ready to kill him in approximately 6, 12, 18 or 24 minutes.
