Howling Stones

Howling Stone (aka Charsis)
This is one of few locked zones in Kunark expansion.
The quest to access This Requires two items:
1. Jade chokidai Prodder from chancellor of Di'zok in sarnak castle in Lake of ill omen.
2. Xalgooz Fang from Kaesora dungeon in Field of bone. The mob is Xalgooz himself.
Howling Stones is divided into 6 zones. The 6 zones are Entry platform, Basement, North wing, West wing, South Wing, and East wing.
Upon zoning in through orb in overthere you will end up on entry platform. Their are 2 mobs which will be patrolling along square outer area of platform. There are 4 stair ways leading up from entry. Each stairway faces north , south , west, and EAST. EAST STAIRS ARE AN ILLUSION/FALSE STAIRS You will fall to basement which has a 4 to 8 mobs at fixed or patrolling points. The stairs lead to doors which access the north, west, south and east wings of this dungeon. At top of each stairway are 2 golem who flank the doorways to each wing. Each of these door requires a key EXCEPT THE EAST.
North , west and south wing all have a portal at end of the wing that will bring you back to entry platform. East wing has a portal that will take you out of the dungeon. This is the only exit so bring gate potion / devices or a porter. basement has a portal right below entry platform which will port you back to entry platform.
There is a good map of this zone on the eqatlass link through this web sit. The monster location marked on map are different on emac and will discuss the ones I have personally confirmed bellow.
This quide/discussion wil only cover north wing so far as upon writing this have not had time to explore other wings.
The North Door requires Tallow Marked Candle, This item is dropped by Sperm like mobs that may or may not be up patrolling platform when you zone in. Keep killing the 2 patrolling mobs till the sperm like one pop and it will always drop the tallow marked candle. Alternatively you can bring a rogue to unlock the door.
